The same routine day in and day out can lead to boredom or worst, leave you worn out and unfulfilled.
Due to the recent events happening all around the world with COVID-19 I decided to suggest you a few ideas of what you can do while under quarantine at home.
Here are my favorite things to do while at home:
Read a book – let‘s start with the obvious, sometimes we are busy with outdoor activities, socialising and do not find the time to read, so here is your chance to catch up on some good books.
Relax – have some days for yourself make the most by doing your favorite things.
Learn a new skill – I hope we are not closed for long, but for good 2-3 weeks you can easily learn a new skill. You always wanted to learn how to saw, draw, cook, knit, master Photoshop or even learn how speed reading works. Now you have the chance give it a go.
Movies and Series – Enjoy the time while escaping reality. I made a list of the recent series I’ve seen and all time favorites, you can check it here.
Learn new language – learning new language can take time but you can always start. today I am using Duolingo from some time now. it is free and very helpful.
Meditate – while at home master the meditation or just try it for the first time. I find meditation very suiting sometimes.
Organize and Declutter Your Home – Start with discarding things that you do not need in your home anymore and then organising what is left. Having a clean home will help you de-stress your life.
Clean out your closet for clothes to sell.
Discover the art of organizing kitchen drawers and cabinets.
Workout at home – There are so many exercises you can do at home, I like Valentina Lequeux or Sarah’s Day. They have great video workouts over their Instagram accounts, go and check them @sarahs_day ,@valentinalequeux .
Gardening learn how to grow anything – if you have a garden or even big balcony nothing can stop you from trying to grow small garden. I live in the apartment, and I have made a small garden on my balcony.
Put Together a Puzzle – Puzzles are a great way for your family to connect and practice teamwork.
Start a journal – If having ample free time is resulting in a lot of thoughts and ideas, write them down in a journal and start bringing them to life or try some bullet journals.
